So today has been poo.

I woke up early because I heard all this noise coming from the front porch / side of my house. Grabbed my mace and made sure my dog was awake and got READY TO FIGHT. Of course it was nothing, but of course I couldn't get back to sleep after THAT.

Drove to work. At the stop sign RIGHT IN FRONT of my work, I decide to scratch my eye because, hey, it itches. Out falls my contact. I call in, tell them what happened, search for half an hour, can't find it. Drive back home (30 minutes away) to grab my glasses so I can work, drive back.

Work was kind of slow & boring today. Which isn't bad, that usually means I can talk to my co-workers, but of course it was the kind of slow that means there's a constant string of customers to be waited on.

Drive back home, thinking Jason will be there to help me look for my contact like he promised, only to see his car's gone. I guess Round Table finally decided to call him back and send him to work today. And he won't be back until late.

Spent another hour looking for the contact, to no avail.

My contacts cost $200...each. That is why they are supposed to last for two or three years. My glasses are an older prescription, everything is fuzzy, and they're super loose on my face, so if I even GLANCE down they will slip down my nose. Also, my work has a steam table...so that's fun.
