Orientation at my job went well! They gave me two fat manuals/training things. And two shirts and an apron. I actually start (like with sales) tomorrow. My schedule's pretty cool, I work like 5+ hours a day, about every other day, and about 30 hrs/week. Pay's $8.25/hr--not great (I live in Santa Cruz, guys), but it's competitive for the field; plus there's opportunity for advancement. Awesome! I have some really cool shifts (10-4--not too early to go in, and pretty early to come out!), and some not-so-cool ones (3-9:15--that's almost my entire day with Jason D:), but I guess that's to be expected.
