Sooo my mom came today. We went to dinner at this place called Chubby's Diner. Which was diner food. It is good to see her. She brought me a teddy bear :DDD

On the job front...no place that I've turned in an application/resume has called me back yet. Which isn't surprising at all, considering that they either weren't hiring at all or are still accepting applications. Still, though, I don't know how much of a chance I have. The one place that I really would like to work (The Buttery) said that they weren't hiring in January, but they'll keep me on file. I wonder if they actually call the people on file, 'cause if not, I'll go back in next month or something.

Meanwhile, I saw 'activism work' advertised in the Sentinel. Bottom end is $375 a week AND I'd be helping to FIGHT GLOBAL WARMING!!!! So I'm definitely interested in that; I wonder what all is involved or what I'd actually be doing.
