My father's visiting. We all (me, Jason, my dad, ALL OF US, 'CAUSE THERE'S SO MANY) went for a 'walk' on West Cliff Drive today, which consisted of driving to West Cliff Drive, parking, and walking across the street to watch the surfers. It looked like they were setting up for some competition, but I couldn't find out anything about it. Also, I've now forced my father into watching about 11 episodes of The Office. HE LIKES IT. I'm emailing him on Wednesdays AND Thursdays to remind him to watch it when it's on TV, hahaha. Also made him watch Riding Giants. (Relatedly, Jason & I are going to the competition at Mavericks when it happens. SCORE YES AWESOME! This will make up somewhat for missing the best Cold Water Classic in 20 years.)

Tomorrow I'm picking up applications for all the bakeries in town. There's fifteen or twenty, so I think I have a pretty good chance of being considered by at least one of them, even if not all of them are actively looking for new employees right now.

1) Honeybear. That is what I most commonly call my boyfriend. Sometimes it's just 'Bear.' But yes. I LOVE HIM.
2) Hands. They are SO useful. Without them, I could not be typing this right now, and we all know what a loss that would be. SERIOUSLY, though, hands = win.
3) Heat. I really do like heat. It's so nice and warm.
4) Happiness. Who DOESN'T love happiness?!
5) Hair. Well, not everybody's. But it is the first thing I notice (usually).
6) Hazelnuts. Without it, Nutella would be impossible. And I LOVE Nutella.
7) Hearts. We need them to live!
8) Hippies. They're just so nice!
9) Hotpants. The kind of undies. I love me some undies.
10) Hinrichs. 'Cause it's my future last name!
