Me and Jason went to see Starship tonight. Booyah. YES CHEESEY 80S!!!!!! I was so happy. Starship used to be Jefferson Starship, which used to be Jefferson Airplane. But, um, along the way, the bassist who formed those bands decided that Jefferson Starship had gotten too commercial. Apparently he was the only one who felt this way, 'cause when he 'disbanded' them, the rest of the band was like, 'No thanks, dude.' But he was pissed and sued them, so they changed their name. Haha. BUT LUCKILY, that happened in 1979, so they played all their cheesey 80s hits! YES! 'We Built This City,' 'Nothing's Gonna Stop Us,' 'Somebody to Love.' Plus songs I'd never heard, but were good. :D
We also went to Saturn Cafe and ate fries. And came home and had ravioli. And I was so uncomfortably full and bad feeling. :( It's going away now, thank god, but it was painful. I shouldn't do that.
We've also got a new neighbor. Our old neighbour(s) moved out like three days ago, and today, somebody else was moving in. As far as I can tell, it's just one girl, but I'm not sure. I'll keep you all posted, as this information is just
riveting.
I'm also going to pimp my music/mp3 blog again. Sorry to those of you who've already added it, but OMG this is a great reason, because I have a domain and webspace and everything. My super-exciting site is located at
hobik.org, and is so entertaining, it'll keep you entertained for like .3 seconds. So go add it!
