So! We're packing all our stuff and hopefully we'll be off to Santa Cruz tonight. If we can get all our stuff out of our rooms. We'd planned to leave earlier, but with Jason's fix-it ticket, that turned out not to be the case. We'll probably be leaving tonight to avoid the heat and traffic, but mostly the heat. Jason doesn't have a job yet, and I don't have to do anything until September 18th. Hooray! Actually, I have to go to orientation on Thursday, and that sounds like LAME, but only because I have to be there at like 7:30. AM! A.M.! A IN THE M!!!! WTF?!?!?!?! But it'll be okay, somehow.

It was me and Jason's one-year anniversary on Saturday! We cuddled, went out to dinner, played video games, celebrated. Yay fun! Neither one of us had our presents, because Jason shipped mine to Santa Cruz, where he THOUGHT we'd be, and mine hasn't come yet. I got him a Stanley Aladdin lunchbox cooler with a thermos that snaps into the top so I can pack him stuff for lunch! :D Hooray.

Playing Donkey Kong Country with Jason is just about the most fun ever. I can't even explain most of it. But. My mom came out and asked us what we were doing because we were laughing so hard. After Jason died a bunch of times at the exact same spot, he was like, all super upset, 'I FUCKING HATE MY LIFE!!!' Ahahahaha. And then:
Me: Wow, there's a Candy Kong too?!
Jason: Yes. Everyone in this game is related. And they're all inbred freaks, too.
